John has spent his entire career at the intersection of healthcare technology and finance, which is why he is tackling the financial cost of medical imaging. Prior to founding Luci, John worked as a product manager at Optum and Avail, and began his career working on growth equity investments, M&A and capital raises for healthcare technology companies at Great Hill Partners and Oppenheimer.

At Luci, John is responsible for overall direction of Luci including product, strategy, and go-to-market. John earned a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

CMO

Toby is an experienced clinician executive, combining experience in venture capital with medical training. Prior to founding Luci, Toby worked as a healthcare venture capital investor at OCA Ventures and Cord Grass Holdings while pursuing his M.D. at Washington University in St. Louis with a focus on orthopedic surgery.

At Luci, Toby is responsible for clinical strategy, partnerships and business development. Toby earned a B.S. from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Shane brings a diverse set of skills across corporate strategy, consulting and legal, along with a passion for healthcare and entrepreneurship. Prior to founding Luci, Shane worked as a digital health and life sciences consultant at Putnam Associates, and as a summer associate at Gunderson Dettmer with a focus on startup and venture capital law.

At Luci, Shane is responsible for operations and regulatory strategy. Shane earned a B.A. from Tufts University.
